Un doodle di Google dedicato alla fotografia

Il 16 marzo 2015 è l’anniversario dei 216 anni dalla nascita di Anna Atkins, una pioniera della fotografia ed una esperta botanica che si è occupata di cianografia al altissimi livelli. Anna Atkins è nata nel 1799 a Tonbridge nel Kent, in Inghilterra, ed è considerata la prima persona ad aver pubblicato un libro illustrato.

Google's doodle in the U.S. and the U.K. marks the 216th Birthday of English photographer and botanist Anna Atkins. Considered the first person to publish a book illustrated with photographs, Atkins is also credited with being the first to use cyanotype, a printing process the uses cyan-blue print, for photography.
